INFORMATION FOR PAPER PRESENTERS

Papers will be presented during the parallel sessions of the Conference that will have a 2-hour duration, with up to 6 papers each. Each paper will be allocated approximately 15 minutes for presentation, with an additional up to 5 minutes for questions and answers following the talk.

Each session will have a Session Chair that will introduce the speakers and will moderate the discussion.

Unless there is a problem, the order of presentations will be kept as listed in the Conference Final Program, as many attendees move from session to session in order to attend specific presentations.

In case of a problem with a particular presentation (e.g. temporary technical difficulties), the Session Chair will make the necessary adjustments to the sequesnce of presentetions of the session, allowing time for the problem to be fixed.


Each presentation room will be equipped with a laptop computer and a projector (16:9 aspect ratio) for PowerPoint presentations, connected with HDMI cable. The available software may also allow for other types of presentations, such as embedded videos.

The laptop will be also connected to external speakers together with a microphone for sound output.

All presentation rooms will be set up in theater style with a head table, where the laptop and the microphone will be placed.

Presenters are advised to arrive in the room at least 10 minutes before the beginning of the session in order to familiarize themselves with the equipment available in the room, upload their presentation in the laptop and test it with the equipment.

Wireless internet connection will be available in the presentation rooms.

Presenters who wish to run specialized software need to bring their own laptop and any necessary adapter to connect to the projector. Prior to their session, they should inform the session chair and test that their computer and adapter works with the projector in the room.

Presenters that would like to use their Apple Mac computer for their presentation must bring their own adapter to connect to the projector or their own cable. Prior to their session, they should inform the session chair and test that their computer and adapter works with the projector in the room.
